Paco Submarine

Wow! We're so glad we stopped here for lunch. A short menu with high quality choices. We enjoyed the hamburger and chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. And maybe the fries were the best item on our plates. So good. The parking lot was full and that says something. You've passed it on Dixie, now you need to stop.

I've had their burger and other sandwiches a few times now—and every single time, they've hit the spot. The homemade sauces are addicting, the flavors are bold, the fries are to die for, and the wings? Don’t sleep on those either. The vibe is always on point with good music and an awesome staff that makes you feel welcome. If you see Paco’s Submarine while you’re out and hungry, GO! You won’t regret it.

We love this place! The food is fresh, (homemade/hand cut/local caught) and offer ingredient combinations that are absolute flavor explosions. Even the salad, which sounds basic, is anything but. It comes out looking like an exotic and beautiful pile of floofy cheese, spices and garnishes. The lettuce is under there somewhere, and it’s delicious! The owner is wonderful and has built a great team with excellent service that feels so much more personal (“small town”) than any other place around. Highly recommend you give them a try!

Absolutely delicious and extremely consistent! These guys specialize in everything they put on their menu. You can literally taste the effort. If I could give it 10 Stars I would. Crazy incredible fries and the burgers are to die for. Highly recommend, great atmosphere!

Delicious, local and fast! Our first time for a lunch visit and it was fresh and good. We ordered The Whaler (chicken sandwich) with fries and the Caesar Salad with chicken. So delicious and the fries are hand cut, hot and fresh. Large portions too! Looking forward to going again and trying other sandwiches! Yum!

This sub shop is amazing! The Ruben was phenomenal and I also tried a bite of the smash burger and it was awesome. The fries are fresh cut and everything was hot and not greasy. Their malt sauce was so unique and especially good on the fries. Excellent customer service and very clean. Highly recommend!

This is a cute sandwich shop. It's a smallish menu, but I think they excel at what they do. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. The staff are very friendly. Not sure if the Wings always come unsauced with containers for dipping or if they were ordered that way. I had the pastrami. It's got a nice thick layer of moist flavorful meat. The wings were all well cooked. They sauces were good for. The pork sandwich and the fries steal the show. The pork sandwich tasted a bit like a Cuban. It was very good. The fries are definitely a point of pride for them. They have a process and they were excellent as well. You could come in for the fries alone and it would be worth the visit. They have a nice local following which is always a good sign. It's important to visit these non chain restaurants. Especially ones doing things well.

We are visiting NSB and got to try Paco Submarine. The food was delicious and extremely fresh! We tried the local fish basket which included red snapper, the smashburger, and the boardwalk fries. It was probably one of the best smashburgers and fried fish baskets I’ve ever had. The tempura batter was spectacular on the fish! If you go, get the boardwalk fries. They were AMAZING! I can’t wait to have it again next time we visit.
